## Story

Along a gentle stream where clear water slipped over smooth stones lived a small white rabbit named Luna. Her bright blue eyes sparkled like morning dew, but her daily hops felt quieter than she wished without someone to share them.

Every morning, Luna practiced hopping from one smooth rock to another. She knew every sparkly pebble and secret pool, but discoveries felt better when someone else could see them too.

One bright morning, while collecting dewdrops on flower petals, Luna's ears perked up at a splashing sound downstream. She followed it and found a beaver carefully arranging stones and branches.

"Hello!" Luna called out, her voice carrying over the gentle stream sounds. "I am Luna. Your construction looks wonderful!"

The beaver looked up, revealing a warm smile and slightly crooked front teeth.

"I am Woody! Would you like to help? I am creating a special dam with magical stones that capture the stream's spirit."

As they worked side by side, Luna noticed a pile of stones near the bank. Thinking they were scattered rocks, she used them for stone-skipping practice and sent them dancing across the water.

Woody returned from gathering branches to find his precious collection disappearing into the stream.

"My treasure stones!" Woody said, whiskers trembling. "Those were my special collection from the mountain springs!"

Luna's heart sank as she realized her mistake. When she tried to explain, Woody turned away in disappointment. Luna felt hot and embarrassed, and before she could stop herself, she kicked one more stone into the water.

That afternoon, Luna watched from behind a flowering bush as Woody sat by his unfinished dam, carefully arranging his remaining stones with such gentleness that it made her heart ache.
