## Story

Dramatic Llama lived in a small, warm cottage with a red roof and flower boxes blooming in every window.

She loved three things: her shiny mirror, her velvet curtains, and her cookie jar.

This morning, she reached for the cookie jar on the top shelf.

Her hoof bumped it sideways.

The jar wobbled.

It tipped.

It tumbled through the air and rolled behind the enormous wooden cabinet.

THUNK.

Dramatic Llama gasped.

She pressed one hoof to her forehead.

"CATASTROPHE!" she wailed.

"My cookies are gone forever!"

She flopped onto the cottage floor.

Her legs stuck straight up in the air.

She let out the longest, loudest sigh in the history of sighs.

After five whole minutes of sighing, she sat up.

Her tummy grumbled.

She stared at the cabinet blocking her cookies.

Why did cabinets have to be so big?

And why did cookie jars have to roll so far away?

Dramatic Llama sprang to her hooves.

She would rescue those cookies herself.

She always did everything herself.

She pushed the cabinet with one hoof.

It did not budge.

She pushed with both front hooves.

Nothing moved.

She spun around and shoved with her whole fuzzy bottom.

The cabinet stayed perfectly still.

"UNBELIEVABLE!" she cried.

"I am the strongest llama in this entire cottage!"

A soft tap-tap-tap came from the window.

Robin perched on the flower box outside.

Her red feathers glowed in the morning sun.

"Are you okay?" Robin called through the glass.

Dramatic Llama threw both hooves up.

"My cookie jar rolled behind this gigantic, horrible cabinet and I cannot move it even one tiny bit!"

Robin hopped along the windowsill.

"Would you like some help?"

Dramatic Llama fluffed her fur.

"Help? I do not need help. I am Dramatic Llama! I do everything by myself. I am the star of my own show!"

"Okay," Robin said.

"Good luck!"

She flew away into the blue sky.

Dramatic Llama pushed the cabinet again.

Her hooves slipped on the smooth floor.

The cabinet stayed exactly where it was.

Fifteen minutes later, footsteps pattered on the cottage path.

Robin hopped through the open door.

Rabbit and Badger followed behind her.

"Robin told us you have a tricky problem," Rabbit said.

Dramatic Llama's ears drooped.

"It is not tricky. It is IMPOSSIBLE."

Badger walked over to the cabinet.

He pushed with his strong, striped paws.

The cabinet did not move at all.

"See?" Dramatic Llama sighed.

"Nobody can move it. Not even Badger with his big muscles."

Rabbit wiggled her pink nose.

"What if we all pushed at the same time?"

Dramatic Llama frowned.

She had never worked with other animals before.

She performed her shows alone.

She solved her problems alone.

She took all the bows by herself.

But her tummy rumbled again.

Those cookies smelled so good, even from behind the cabinet.

"Fine," she said.

"But I will do most of the work."

Robin landed on top of Rabbit's head.

"We are ready!"

Rabbit hopped beside the cabinet.

"Everyone pick a spot. When I say three, we push together. One, two, THREE!"

They all pushed.

The cabinet moved one tiny inch.

"It worked!" Robin chirped.

"Barely," Dramatic Llama muttered.

But something warm flickered in her chest.

A little spark of hope.

"Again!" Rabbit called.

"One, two, THREE!"

This time the cabinet slid two whole inches.

Dramatic Llama dug her hooves into the floor and pushed harder.

She grunted.

Beside her, Rabbit pressed with her powerful back legs.

Badger used his strong shoulders.

Robin flew behind the cabinet and pushed with her small wings.

Everyone was working just as hard as she was.

Maybe even harder.

"One more big push!" Badger panted.

"Ready?"

"ONE, TWO, THREE!" they all shouted.

The cabinet scraped across the floor with a loud SCREEEECH.

There sat the cookie jar in the corner, perfectly safe.

Dramatic Llama trotted over and scooped up the jar.

She hugged it close to her fuzzy chest.

Then she turned to look at her three friends.

Rabbit had fur sticking up in five different directions.

Badger had dust covering his black nose.

Robin's feathers looked ruffled and messy.

They had all worked so hard.

For her cookies.

To help her.

Dramatic Llama's heart felt warm and full and strange.

"I could not have moved that cabinet alone," she said softly.

Rabbit's eyes went wide.

"Did you just say something not dramatic?"

Dramatic Llama grinned.

"Do not worry. I am still dramatic! Watch this!"

She lifted the cookie jar high over her head.

"I NOW PRESENT THE MOST MAGNIFICENT COOKIE SHARE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!"

Her friends burst out laughing.

They all sat together on the warm cottage floor.

Dramatic Llama gave everyone two cookies.

They munched and crunched in the cozy room.

"That pushing was actually fun," Badger said between bites.

"It really was," Dramatic Llama admitted.

"Much faster than trying alone, too."

Robin hopped onto her shoulder.

"We make a pretty good team."

Dramatic Llama had never thought about having a team before.

She had always been the solo star.

But working together had felt good.

Really, truly good.

Better than any applause.

"I have a show next week," she said.

"Would you all want to be in it with me?"

"Really?" Rabbit bounced three times.

"Can I do my super high hop?"

"I can dig a special stage entrance!" Badger offered.

"I can sing the opening song!" Robin chirped.

Dramatic Llama smiled the biggest, brightest smile.

"Yes! We will create it together. We will be the GREATEST TEAM in the whole cottage! Maybe even the whole meadow!"

Everyone cheered.

The happy sound filled the small, warm cottage and floated out through the flower boxes.

From that day on, Dramatic Llama still loved putting on shows.

She still loved her cookies and her mirror.

But now she loved one more thing: her team.

Because together, they could move heavy cabinets, create amazing shows, and share the very best cookies in the world.

And that was better than being a solo star any day.
