## Story

Every morning, Rusty the red fox peeked out from his cozy den beneath the ancient oak tree, his bushy tail twitching with curiosity about the world around him. But despite his many questions, Rusty felt too unsure to ask them.

One bright morning, Rusty spotted seven prairie-larks singing in the clearing. He wanted to know how they made such beautiful music, but instead of asking, he hid behind a bush and watched from afar.

"Why not come closer?" called the eldest lark, noticing Rusty's bright fur among the leaves. "We are friendly."

Gathering his courage, Rusty stepped forward and whispered his first-ever question. "How do you sing so beautifully?"

The larks were delighted to share their secret, teaching Rusty about morning warm-ups and breathing techniques. That day, Rusty learned that asking questions could lead to wonderful discoveries.

Later that week, Rusty came across Mrs. Badger struggling with her heavy basket of berries. He wanted to offer help but worried his question might sound silly. Remembering the friendly larks, he took a steady breath.

"May I help you carry that?" he asked, his voice stronger this time. Mrs. Badger's face lit up with a smile.

Together, they walked to her cottage, sharing stories and laughs. Rusty discovered that questions could create new friendships.

One rainy afternoon, Rusty noticed young rabbits trying to build a shelter. He knew a better way but hesitated to speak up. Then he remembered his recent experiences.

"Would you like to learn how to make a rain-proof roof?" he asked confidently.

The rabbits eagerly welcomed his help, and soon they had built a cozy shelter together.

As the sun set that evening, the seven prairie-larks gathered in Rusty's clearing for a special celebration. The whole forest had come to hear Rusty sing his first solo: a beautiful song about friendship and courage.

"You see," said the eldest lark, "every question you ask is like planting a seed of friendship."
