## Story

In Grandmother Rose's cozy cottage, where fresh-baked cookies scented the air and soft quilts draped every chair, Emma found something strange in an old photo album.

"These quilts are flying!" Emma gasped, showing her grandmother a sepia photograph where patchwork quilts floated like clouds. Grandmother Rose smiled and handed Emma a silver thimble that sparkled in the lamplight.

That night, Emma sighed at her crooked stitches during her sewing lesson. The thimble glowed blue, warming her finger.

Following the thimble's light to the garden, Emma found a shimmering archway between the rose bushes. She stepped through into a magical realm where enormous quilts drifted like gentle giants against a twilight sky.

"Hello, little friend," came a kind voice. A friendly giant sat nearby, wrapped in rainbow thread.

"I am Bernard, Keeper of the Summer Quilts."

He showed Emma a fading quilt patch. "But they are unraveling, and my hands are too big for detailed repairs."

Emma studied the quilts.

"Maybe we could work together. I am learning to sew, and you know the quilts' magic."
