## Story

Every morning, Old Sage, the wisest owl in Whispering Woods, would open the red shutters of his cozy cottage and tend to his special garden of emotions. His round glasses perched perfectly on his curved beak, and his warm brown feathers seemed to glow in the morning light as he went about his daily routine.

The cottage itself was a sight to behold, with its cheerful red roof and window boxes overflowing with rainbow-colored flowers that seemed to dance in the breeze. But what made Old Sage's home truly special was his magical garden, where different plants represented different feelings. There were tall, sturdy trees of joy, delicate flowers of kindness, and sometimes, thorny bushes of anger that needed extra careful tending.

One day, a young rabbit named Pip came hopping to Old Sage's door, tears streaming down his furry cheeks.

"I cannot stop getting angry at my little sister," Pip said through his tears. "She always takes my things without asking, and I end up yelling and upsetting everyone."

Old Sage led Pip to the garden, where a particularly prickly anger bush was growing wild.

"Sometimes," Old Sage explained gently, "our anger is like this bush: it starts small but can grow quickly if we do not tend to it properly."

Together, they tried different approaches to manage the thorny bush. First, they tried cutting it back quickly, but that only made the thorns sharper. Then they tried ignoring it completely, but it just grew bigger and wilder. With each failed attempt, Pip grew more frustrated, but Old Sage remained calm and patient.

Finally, Old Sage showed Pip something remarkable. He took out a special watering can filled with what he called "understanding water" and slowly, carefully watered the roots of the anger bush.

To Pip's amazement, the bush began to change. The thorns softened, and beautiful flowers started to bloom.

"You see," Old Sage explained, "anger needs patience and understanding before it can soften into something kinder."

Pip learned to pause and take slow breaths when he felt angry. He started talking to his sister instead of yelling, and slowly, their relationship blossomed like the flowers in Old Sage's garden.

From that day forward, whenever Pip felt anger growing inside him, he remembered Old Sage's garden and the thorny bush changing with care. He paused, breathed, and looked for the first small green shoot beneath the thorns.
