The Dragon's Way Home
A Tale of Empathy, Teamwork and Perseverance
Jack and Lily are playing hide-and-seek in a castle maze when they discover a talking dragon who needs help finding Dragon Mountain. With Jack's map, Lily's patience, and a few careful introductions, they guide their new friend home and help the dragons understand one another.
The Maze
Once upon a time, Jack and Lily were playing hide-and-seek in the castle’s maze. They loved playing games together, especially when they got to explore new places. As they ran around trying to find each other, they noticed a shimmer behind the hedge.

Intrigued by what they saw, they decided to investigate further. And that was when they discovered a large dragon resting behind some bushes! To their surprise, the dragon spoke to them!
The dragon explained that he had been searching through the maze for years and was unable to find his way back home. Jack and Lily felt sorry for the dragon and wanted to help him out.
As children with big imaginations often do, they put their heads together and came up with a plan: why not use Jack’s map skills? He was always good at finding his way around new places. Together with Lily’s problem-solving abilities, it seemed like an excellent idea!
Eager to help someone who needed it, the young heroes set off through leafy forests toward Dragon Mountain, where many more adventures awaited them.
Maze Adventure
Jack and Lily love playing games, especially hide-and-seek. They are always looking for new places to play, so when they heard about a maze at the castle nearby, they went to check it out.

As soon as they arrived at the maze, Jack and Lily started running through it, hiding from each other behind every corner. But then something strange happened - Lily heard a noise coming from some bushes nearby! As she approached slowly with quick, curious steps, she saw something she never expected: a large dragon!
The dragon was as surprised as Jack and Lily were. He explained that he had been wandering through the maze for years and did not know how to get back home. Jack and Lily felt sorry for him and decided to help him find his way.
They asked him what his name was, but he simply replied, “I do not have one,” which made them giggle. Together with their new friend who now needed a name too, the heroes began brainstorming names. After much deliberation and discussion, ‘Sparky’ seemed most fitting since he could breathe warm sparks like no other!
Now with introductions out of the way and Sparky feeling more comfortable around these friendly humans who had found him unexpectedly while playing hide-and-seek, the trio set off on an adventure together toward Dragon Mountain.
“Are you ready?” asked Jack.
“Yes!” exclaimed Sparky.
“We are going to help you find your way home!” said Lily confidently.
They went into the maze once again, this time searching for clues that might lead them toward Dragon Mountain where all kinds of dragons lived happily together in peace.
The Map
Jack, Lily, and the dragon were unsure which turn to take in the maze. They needed to find a way back home. That was when Jack had an idea. He remembered that he always carried a map with him whenever he went on adventures.

“Let me see if I can find where you live on this map,” Jack said as he took out his map from his backpack.
Lily was curious about what Jack was doing. “What are you looking for?” she asked.
“I am trying to find where our new friend lives so we can help him get back home,” replied Jack.
The three of them huddled together around the map and started studying it carefully. There were many different landmarks, rivers, mountains, and forests marked on it, but nothing seemed to match what their new dragon friend had described.
As they searched every corner of the map, Lily noticed something interesting. “Hey, look at this! There is a mountain range called Dragon Mountain!”
“That could be it!” exclaimed Jack. “Let us go there!”
They set off through leafy forests until they reached Dragon Mountain, all thanks to Jack’s handy map.
The Search for Dragon Mountain
Jack and Lily looked at the map with puzzled expressions on their faces. “Do you see anything?” asked Lily, squinting her eyes.

“I think I might have an idea,” said Jack, pointing to a spot on the map. “Look here! It says ‘Dragon Mountain’.”
“Dragon Mountain?” repeated Lily, surprised. “That sounds like a good place to start looking!”
With eager smiles, they set off through leafy forests. They had never been this far from home before, so everything seemed new and exciting.
As they walked along the path that led them farther into the forest, they heard strange noises coming from all around them - rustling leaves, chirping birds, and scurrying animals. Jack assured Lily that he knew exactly where they were going.
After walking quietly except for these noises, the intrepid explorers came across what appeared to be an enormous mountain range stretching as far as the eye could see. There was no sign of dragons yet.
“Are we close?” asked Lily.
“Yes!” exclaimed Jack confidently. “We are right where we need to be!”
One dragon popped up from behind a rocky ledge!
“What are you doing here?” asked the dragon curiously.
“We are trying to help our friend find his way back home,” explained Jack kindly while smiling brightly at this unexpected encounter.
The dragon introduced himself as Sparky and offered to guide them. With Sparky leading the way, Jack and Lily followed a winding path toward Dragon Mountain.
Dragon Mountain
Jack, Lily, and the dragon finally reached Dragon Mountain after solving many tricky turns. As they approached, they saw a magnificent mountain range filled with all sorts of dragons living together in harmony.

The trio was amazed by what they saw. There were dragons of all shapes and sizes - some were small and cute like puppies while others were huge with shimmering claws used for carving homes in the rock! All the dragons seemed to be happy as they flew playfully around each other.
As Jack, Lily, and their new friend made their way into the heart of Dragon Mountain, they noticed something strange happening. Instead of being greeted warmly by the other dragons, several creatures seemed wary when they saw this new companion alongside Jack and Lily.
Jack wondered if the other dragons were unsure because their new friend looked different. “Maybe they need to know him,” he said.
With Lily’s help, Jack introduced their dragon friend slowly. They told stories from the road, invited the dragons to ask questions, and gave everyone time to listen.
Slowly, the other dragons saw how friendly the newcomer was. By evening, Dragon Mountain felt peaceful again.
The Arrival at Dragon Mountain
After a long walk, Jack, Lily, and the dragon finally arrived at Dragon Mountain. They were relieved to have made it through the leafy forests and winding paths.

As they approached their destination, they noticed that some of the other dragons seemed unsure about their new companion. The dragon could not understand why this was happening as he had never been to Dragon Mountain before.
Jack and Lily decided to take charge of the situation and speak with one of the friendlier-looking dragons. They explained how they met their new friend in the castle maze and how they had helped him find his way back home.
The friendly dragon listened intently to their story before explaining that many other creatures had been spreading mixed-up rumors about visitors who did not understand dragon customs. This had caused worry among some members of Dragon Mountain’s population toward outsiders.
Jack tried his best to reassure them that he would always treat every creature with care, especially such magnificent beings like themselves! He even offered an olive branch by gifting some shiny pebbles he had collected on his travels so far as a friendship offering!
Finally understanding Jack’s good intentions softened up the attitudes felt toward him and his companions, allowing them safe passage within the city limits once again. Life could continue normally amongst everyone else living there happily together once more thanks to the quick thinking shown along the way getting here!
Restoring Peace
Jack, Lily, and the dragon finally made it to Dragon Mountain after solving so many tricky turns. However, upon their arrival, they were met with wary looks from many of the other dragons living there. They could hear murmurs in the background about how “different” their new companion was.
The trio soon saw that getting their friend home was only part of the trouble. Dragons on different ledges watched one another warily and whispered from behind their wings.
Determined to find a solution that would bring everyone together, Jack suggested organizing a game of dragon tag! The idea was met with raised eyebrows at first by some of the dragons. However, as soon as Jack explained how it worked and that everyone could join in on this fun activity - including their new friend - they started warming up to the idea.
As they started playing tag together, stiff tails loosened and folded wings opened wide. A red dragon tagged a blue dragon near the bridge, and both of them burst out laughing.
The game twisted across bridges and through tunnels carved into the mountain walls. By the final round, dragons who had refused to speak were calling warnings, cheering near misses, and saving one another places in line.
By the end of the game, Dragon Mountain felt warmer and safer. Jack, Lily, and their dragon friend had shown that shared courage, teamwork, and patience could bring different creatures closer together.
The Peaceful Dragon Mountain
After a long walk through forests, over hills and valleys, Jack, Lily and the dragon finally arrived at Dragon Mountain. They were ready to help their new friend find his way back home. However, when they got there something unexpected happened.

Many of the other dragons on Dragon Mountain seemed unsure of their new companion. They had never seen anything like him before! Jack and Lily knew that they needed to work together with their dragon friend to restore peace between different groups of dragons.
The trio set out on a mission to help these dragons understand that even though their friend looked different from them, he was as friendly and kind as any other dragon on the mountain. They used teamwork skills honed during hide-and-seek games in mazes along with perseverance needed to solve obstacles encountered along the way.
They talked with each group of dragons separately. They described how much they enjoyed playing hide-and-seek with him in the castle’s maze, and they told the story of how everyone had worked together to solve the maze’s trickiest turns.
Slowly, the other dragons began to warm up to their new companion. They asked him questions, showed him their favorite ledges, and listened when he explained how far from home he had felt.
By sunset, Dragon Mountain felt peaceful again. Jack, Lily, and their dragon friend watched the other dragons glide together through the rosy sky, no longer unsure of one another.
