The Library's Hidden Treasures
Benny and Morris Share the Shelves
A gentle bear and timid mouse discover friendship through their shared love of books and adventure. Their differences become strengths as they create a welcoming library community for all animals.
In the peaceful Whispering Woods Library, Benny Bear spent his quiet afternoons reading adventure tales in his favorite plush chair. The warm sunlight made his honey sandwiches taste even sweeter.

One day, a soft rustling sound caught his attention. Tiny squeaks came from behind the poetry books, along with gentle scratching noises.
“What could that be?” Benny set down his book and sandwich.

A trail of paper scraps and tiny paw prints led through the shelves. Benny tiptoed past History, around Mystery, and into Reference.
“Is someone there?” he whispered.

Behind a large atlas, he found a small gray mouse nibbling a book corner. The mouse froze, then darted behind a dictionary.
“Please do not worry,” Benny said softly. “I am curious about what you are reading.”

The mouse peeked out.
“I am Morris. I love reading about explorers and treasure maps.”
Benny smiled. “Those are my favorites too! Would you like some honey sandwich?”
Soon they sat together, sharing stories and snacks.

“Look what I made,” Morris said. He unrolled a tiny map showing secret library spots: cozy corners, forgotten bookmarks, and hidden reading nooks.

Working together, they made a helpful team. Morris could slip through narrow spaces to find missing items, while Benny reached the highest books. Their different sizes helped them solve different problems.
Animals gathered for story time in library.
They started the Library Explorers Club, where woodland creatures shared tales each week. From tiny mice to tall bears, everyone found a place in the story circle.
