Bruno's Splashing Stream Surprise

In a cozy corner of Whispering Woods lived a friendly brown bear named Bruno. He had the most wonderful collection of shiny pebbles.

Every morning, he arranged them carefully by the stream and watched them glisten in the sunlight.

Bruno’s life was predictable: wake up, polish his pebbles, play quietly by the stream, and sometimes wave to passing forest creatures.

He loved how the clear water trickled over his special stones, making them sparkle even more.

One Tuesday morning, Bruno heard unfamiliar giggles coming from his favorite spot. He found a group of silly mermaids splashing in his stream, using his carefully arranged pebbles as diving toys.

“Those are my special pebbles!” Bruno called out, his voice wobbling with worry. The mermaids, with their colorful fins and friendly smiles, stopped their game and introduced themselves as the Stream Swimmers Gang.

“We are sorry!” said Pearl, the leader with a purple tail. “We thought these lovely pebbles were for everyone. Would you like to play with us?”

Bruno was not sure. He had never shared his pebbles before. But something about the mermaids’ cheerful faces made him curious.

Carefully, he stepped closer to the water’s edge. The mermaids taught Bruno new games: pebble tossing contests, underwater treasure hunts, and even how to make ripple music with the stones. Sharing was not easy at first.

“My turn! My turn!” Bruno sometimes said when a mermaid held his favorite green pebble too long. The mermaids stayed patient, showing him how taking turns made the games more fun for everyone.

One day, while watching the mermaids create a beautiful pebble pattern underwater, Bruno understood something important: his pebbles looked even prettier when shared with friends.

“Would you like to help me collect more pebbles?” Bruno asked quietly. “We could make the biggest, most spectacular collection together!”

The Stream Swimmers Gang cheered with delight. Together, they explored the forest’s streams, discovered new stones, and created bright underwater displays.
