In a cozy valley nestled between rolling hills, there lived a beautiful unicorn named Luna. Her silver horn sparkled in the sunlight, and her rainbow mane flowed like silk in the gentle breeze. Luna made her home in a charming cottage with a bright red roof and cheerful flower boxes bursting with colorful blooms. Luna loved learning about everything around her, but she had a secret worry: she felt nervous about asking questions. Whenever she did not understand something, her heart would flutter like butterfly wings, and she would stay quiet instead of speaking up.
One morning, Luna noticed her neighbor, a wise old giant named Mr. Oakley, planting mysterious seeds in his garden. Every day, she watched from her window as the seeds grew into strange, glowing plants she had never seen before. She desperately wanted to know what they were, but the thought of asking made her hooves tremble. “Oh dear,” Luna whispered to herself, “what if Mr. Oakley thinks my question is silly? What if he laughs at me?”
Days passed, and the glowing plants grew taller and brighter. Other animals in the valley began visiting Mr. Oakley’s garden, asking questions and learning about the magical plants. Luna watched as they all left with big smiles and twinkling eyes. Finally, one evening, Luna gathered all her courage. “I can ask kindly,” she told herself, breathing slowly. “Questions help us learn and grow.”
With wobbly legs, she trotted over to Mr. Oakley’s garden. The giant was humming cheerfully as he watered his plants. “Excuse me, Mr. Oakley,” Luna said softly. “I have been wondering: what are these beautiful glowing plants?” Mr. Oakley’s kind eyes crinkled as he smiled. “Why, Luna! I am so glad you asked. These are Starlight Flowers. They help light the way for night creatures who need a path in the moonlight.”
Luna’s eyes widened with wonder. “Really? That is amazing!” “Would you like to help me tend them?” Mr. Oakley asked. “I could use an assistant with such a curious mind.”
From that day forward, Luna visited Mr. Oakley’s garden every afternoon. She asked about moonflowers, humming stones, and why the roses sparkled after rain. Soon, other animals came to her with their own questions about the magical garden. “Questions are welcome,” Luna would tell them, her rainbow mane shimmering proudly. “That is how we learn and make new friends!”
